R&B sensation Eric Bellinger stopped in New York to shut down SOB's. 48 hours after the release of his album The Rebirth 2, fans were anticipating his arrival and wondered just what songs Eric would possibly perform. As expected, Eric put his heart on the stage.
Strategically, Eric Bellinger let the instrumental of "Apple Berry Nana" build as he slowly made his way unto the stage. Torn between singing along and screaming, fans pulled out their phones to capture each moment. Immediately after finishing the song, the talented singer introduced himself and engaged the audience with questions like "What your favorite song?" and "What song do y'all wanna hear next?" Trying to make out song titles from the crowd, Bellinger smirked and pointed to his DJ to queue up the next track.
Pulling songs from his extensive catalog, Eric Bellinger sang into the riffs of riffs as he free-styled different notes of his smash hits with help from his dedicated fans listening. His set included songs like:
"Type of Way"
"Today I Got Time"
"IPod on Shuffle"
Eric's performance left everyone in attendance wanting more and regretting the arrival of the last song. Surely he'll return to New York sooner than later right? The talented singer graciously thanked attendees as he acknowledged fans and thanked members of his team for another show in the bag. Eric Bellinger is a singing powerhouse and if you get the chance to see him live, don't hesitate. Stream The Rebirth 2 HERE!
