Trey returns with 2 Days N and trust, you're in for a treat! The 5-track project is exactly what you need to build a vibe as the colder weather of cuffin season sets in.
Starting the project off with a slowed and flipped sample from Jhene Aiko's "Never Call Me," Trey's use of "Show You" is a perfect introduction to the rest of his music.
"Omw To You" is an easy but sweet modulation that you'll find replaying as soon as it ends. Perfect for those late night, early morning drives or sessions. Trey has a transparent ability to use his vocals to float through instrumental layers and you'll hear the fluidity as the EP progresses. A love ballad of sorts, Trey turns up the heat as he lets the words from his heart paint the intensity of the track.
"Got Somethin," a song that deserves a slot on multiple RnB playlists, will leave you doing a double take in the mirror. Another tune to add to your mood list. You know, the "I'm un-textable" mood. It will be hard not to enjoy other tracks featured on the project like "Come Back" and "Don't Let Me Go" because you'll be doing yourself a disservice.
Trey masters the tone of 2 Days N as you'll notice the entire project holds a steady calm but exciting theme. Each track blends into one another and before you know it, it will be over.Overall the project has great replay value and it has become a highly recommended EP.
