'No More' by B.U.d comes packed full of good-time vibes. Also, I got flung back to the early '90s with its nostalgic sound. Nevertheless, it does not sound out of place in 2020. It has many modern qualities too, and it is refreshing to see an artist take influence from a period when RnB was so lit.
It was a smooth listen for me. I was particularly attracted to B.U.d's elegant vocal gliding through the track effortlessly. He expresses his range perfectly here, and I found it hard to count the number of octaves on offer.
Is it a brand new delivery? Not exactly. But it works splendidly. Also, the dynamics within the track pleased my ears like earmuffs. Not one to usually, listen to softer urban, I was very impressed by B.U.d's record. Also, having researched the LA-based singer further, I realised that Liza B Morries is his mother. For all of you who do not know, Liza was one of the gospel greats. Therefore, it is clear to see where B.U.d got his direction.
Overall, the track was like a superior wine. It comes with all the top qualities you would expect from an experienced RnB star. But it also comes with a sparkle on top. Excellent work, B.U.d.
