Kaja And Her ‘Polish Flowers’

Kaja and her single "Polish Flowers" are the talk of the town, and considering the track's rapid popularity and the fact that it was released some time ago, it's no surprise that it ended up on our desk. Furthermore, Kaja reflects on happy recollections, and many will recognise the lyricism's reminiscence. It's a nail-biter with a path that's suited for today's world.

Kaja's voice has an rnb soul flavour to it that rivals some of the industry's biggest names from decades ago. Furthermore, it appears that she draws more influence from older artists than from musicians who are now at the top of the charts. As a result, her vocal delivery sounds fresh and unusual, and the tones she creates leave us clinging to her every word.

On the other hand, the backup vocals are not hugely audible in this work, and it's a shame that there aren't more backing harmonies emerging from the mix. Why? Because an extra layer of harmony appearing down the line would be well suited to this type of production. Also, it would add to the narrative's sense of direction.

Everything is on the spot musically, and even though there is nothing too crazy going on in the background, it still provides a solid rock for Kaja. All of the sounds blend without dissonance, creating a tangible aura that lasts long after the song has ended.
