'Memories,' by 780 Masochist, is a delightful new single that grips with instant charm. Furthermore, 780 Masochist's appealing path is unique, and he easily outperforms the competition from the start.

The music begins with a rising synth lead with a macabre tone that chills the bones. A monster-like vocal sample appears to offer an even more terrifying flavour, and it clashes potently with the bass riff. The overture is a little long, and it takes a wee while to get into the groove, but once we're into the 780 Masochist vocal section, there's no way we're leaving.

In addition, 780 Masochist adds a fascinating aspect to the forefront of modern hip hop, and he does not stay in one place for long periods, which is stimulating. Furthermore, the soundtrack draws inspiration from a multitude of sources, resulting in a unique hybrid.

The refrain is out of the ordinary in that it slows down in terms of tempo and is arguably the calmest part of the song, but it's still full of energy, and it's impressive to see an artist turning modern structures on their heads. It's also a common theme for 780 Masochist, and the track's pattern is unpredictable in movement.

Overall, 'Memories' is possibly the most riveting expression from the Canadian rapper to date. It's about a previous relationship that went bad, and 780 Masochist misses the loved one, but it's not your typical heartbreak story.
